25 Stories on Gender Violence

Femina Magazine's "Fight Back" series highlighted about 25 different stories of gender violence, subjugation and discrimination over the period of one year. This was the final story in the series that brought to light the rampant sex abuse in India's catholic churches, child abuse that remains severely hushed up, sexual discrimination that new-age working Indian women have to go through and street sexual harassment, which we lightly, very wrongly term "eve-teasing".

On a happier note, the fight back series won the UNFPA-Laadli Awards for Gender Sensitivity in the Media :)
